Job description
Job Responsibilities:
• Assist in bridge girder / segment launching operations
• Support shifting, positioning, and alignment of girders and launching equipment
• Help in assembling and dismantling launching materials and tools
• Assist in roller placement, cable pulling, jacking support, and guide arrangements
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the launching zone
• Follow instructions, hand signals, and safety procedures during launching activities
Safety Responsibilities (VERY IMPORTANT):
• Wear full PPE at all times (helmet, safety shoes, safety belt, reflective jacket)
• Never stand under suspended loads or moving girders
• Follow all launching safety instructions strictly
• Report unsafe conditions immediately to the supervisor
Eligibility & Requirements:
• Freshers can also apply (training will be provided)
• Experience in bridge or heavy construction work is an advantage
• Physically fit and willing to work at height and during night shifts if required
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Working Hours:
• Monday to Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Overtime: After 5:00 PM (as per site requirement)
• Sunday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Discipline & Conduct:
• Strict adherence to site rules and safety standards
• No alcohol, drugs, or unsafe behavior at the site
